Dr. Martin is a public health consultant who works alongside businesses, government entities, communities, and health care organizations to help improve the health of all. Working with a wide array of partners will hopefully lead to improved programs and policies that have a direct impact on various cultures and demographic groups.
Dr. Martin prides herself on being transparent within her research and consultancy roles. In the pursuit of research and education, it is important not to forget the reason(s) for the research, the patients or community. Even when conducting professional research and analysis, Dr. Martin believes that the community should be at the table, offering their views, history and perspective.
It is up to researchers to educate the community on how to conduct their own research as well as integrate them into both the implementation and dissemination phases of research. Often, organizations conduct research and programs without ever going back to the community.

I have experience and insight into various areas of health policy, community health & wellness, research & management. I have also served in various leadership and advisory roles in health program development, implementation & evaluation. I enjoy speaking about connecting the 8 dimensions of complete wellness, plant-based nutrition, faith & spirituality, wellness from a cultural experience, health outcomes. and health equity.
